Day 4 of Global Learning Forum 2026 marked the conclusion of the Forum’s internal learning journey and a transition toward its outward-facing public programme.
The day focused on what it takes to sustain change over time. During the Making Change Stick session, young participants and project teams reflected on how shifts in city systems can move beyond pilots and short-term initiatives to become embedded, supported, and lasting. Discussions explored the conditions required for long-term impact, including institutional support, shared ownership, and continued youth engagement.
The internal Forum concluded with a collective reflection, marking the end of an intensive learning process grounded in trust, dialogue, lived experience, and exchange among participants.
In the afternoon, participants stepped outside the Forum setting and travelled together to Shai Hills, creating space to decompress, connect informally, and reflect on the journey shared over the past days.
With the internal phase now complete, attention turns to the Urban Youth Dialogue, where adolescent participants will take the stage in a public, youth-led space to share their perspectives, priorities, and calls for change.
The learning continues — with young people firmly in the lead.
